Cosmic Insights for February 2019

It’s hard to believe we’re already in February! The festive period feels like it was only yesterday, but the daffodils are already bursting up into the sunlight waiting for their opportunity to carpet the landscape vibrant hues of yellow. Despite the darkness of the winter, the light always finds ways of shining through. It’s as though the seasons have become confused and they are slowly merging and losing their definition.

There is a sense that we are currently experiencing a ‘collision’ of moments: a time where winter and spring co-exist. This is a powerful reflection of our own transformations as we are in-between where we were and where we’re heading, but we’re also in both places at the same time. Some could argue that we’re also in neither place as well, but let’s leave the mind bending for another day. This collision of moments reflects a setting free of many layers of the pain and grief that’s been lodged deep within our hearts and souls. Before we can set it free, it all has to merge, collide and rise up, an exquisitely intense experience, but cathartic at the same time.

Whilst we may intuitively sense the transitional nature of this collision, there are a great many souls lost and alone in the mêlée who need compassion, support and love. Of course, it’s not always easy offering this to others, particularly if their own particular evolution involves hate or judgement as these can often reach a fever pitch before any realisations are made or peace is found. It would be easy to turn our backs on those who hate and those who judge, but this only creates more division as the world fragments. It’s undoubtedly hard to feel compassionate for some of the behaviours we see in the world today, and it can be so difficult when we are each experiencing our own chaotic eruption of change, but the more we can open up our hearts and souls, the more hope we discover. We live in an ever increasingly isolated world, where souls are becoming disconnected and alone, and we need the glue of compassion to bring us back together again.

Deep within each of us is a darkness that so few of us are willing to touch. We may fear it will implode if we grow too close as the world, as we know it, may be shattered forever. We may fear the walls we have built over the years will collapse and we will become vulnerable to life, but the only true way to peace is through heartfelt vulnerability. Vulnerability isn’t weakness, it’s courage, it’s passion and it’s a willingness to show our cracks and imperfections.

We may live in confusing times, and this ‘collision’ of moments is both bewildering and overwhelming, but it’s a part of our story, and so whilst the snow sits on the ground with the spring daffodils bursting forth, it’s a good time to lovingly accept the amazing and confounding beauty of being alive…

For now, I wish you all kinds of wonderful.

With love,

Sarah-Jane
