Stephanie and Alan Turner, together with their two co- trustees run a charity called Karmic Angels UK to fund their Gambian Charity. Their intention is simple; to support as many projects for relief and help for the Gambian people.

“We are holistic health healers and realize that the Gambia, being one of the poorest countries in the world, needs so much assistance . Our vision for many years has been to try and make a difference and now we are actually living our dream. Just visit the Gambia not just lying on the beach go out and see the “Real Gambia” and you will understand.
Our vision is to work with the Gambian people and their president to the Blueprint of the Gambian Government to help towards their aim of achieving the highest standards possible for education health and agriculture by the year 2020. We are here to advance the education, relieve the sickness and the poverty of the Gambian people and provide equipment and financial assistance together with providing running water in bush villages clinics and schools.
We will facilitate the education of less priviledged children working with schools and recognising the role of education and national development .
We will help integrate health programmes and will be building the first holistic health centre ever built in the Gambia. We wish to facilitate community development initiated in the area of health with a particular focus of natural healing therapies. To improve the quality of life of local communities by engaging them in viable and sustainable socio-economic activities through skills and training for self reliance and sustainability.
KARMIC ANGELS are looking at ways of raising much needed funds for our charity to help our children in the Gambia.
Below are a few ideas for fundraising – why not have some fun and help very needy children at the same time?

marathon – triathlon – rowing - swimming - cycling – long-distance walking - long-distance motorbiking – mountain climbing

We have run our raffle over 3 Sundays and have raised so far over £650.00 so YES you can do it.
Dont just look at this email and say “I CANT DO ANYTHING LIKE THAT” we will help you if you get back to us we will provide the posters and literature for you and anything you think will help.
Through our charity we aim to put 100 orphan children between the ages of 3 and 7 into education over the next 12 months but we need your help. It costs just 10 pence a day to give an orphan a meal a day educate them for a day and provide them with a uniform. NOT MUCH TO ASK! Thats only £35 a year! Compare that to many other charities who ask for between £12 and £18 month to do what we do. That is because we are a TOTALLY NON PROFIT ORGANISATION and every £1 we collect goes in full to support our orphan children.
