How many of you have actually ever walked literally in the dark and I don’t mean just walking at night?
An example of the dark I’m going to give comes from a personal memory of the days when the coal pits of the UK where a dominant force of the working industry. As each shift began for all coal miners working underground, we would be ferried into a cage like lift, packed like sardines at times and told always to keep your helmet light off.
Suddenly the cage began to move, swaying very gently but often leaving your stomach on the surface, as it literally plummeted several miles underground and that was darkness, so dark you couldn’t see your hand in front of your face, as the cage dropped everyone stood in silence but comfort came in the knowledge that someone was very close to you, someone was close at hand who on occasion spoke out loud so that you knew you were not alone.
The cage then began to slow as you had reached the bottom of the shaft and all around you was suddenly lit with bright fluorescent lights and white washed walls, even greater comfort came for now and you could see which direction you had to take to arrive at your work station. To many this brief journey made was very harrowing, very scary and although it only lasted for a few minutes it sometimes felt like a lifetime, it’s amazing just how many things you can think about in such a short time.
Now, although this true and very real experience happened, I can equally liken it to many of our own individual journeys in life, for I most certainly felt like I was stumbling around in the dark, very alone and often feeling lost not knowing which direction to take, but as always comfort eventually came from my guides in Spirit, that little voice by my side, in the dark giving comfort as I travelled in life. My journey like many others doesn’t end but begins when suddenly we find we are standing in the light of Spirit, a light that clearly gives direction in life, a light pointing the direction of the journey we should take.
Our lives now begin to change as we allow ourselves to be guided by Spirit, we feel great comfort within, a feeling of inner peace and the more in tune we become, the brighter that light seems to be, in fact the light then begins to emanate from ourselves, allowing others to be drawn toward it, in order that we may assist others to find their own light and journeys.
The World in which we live has and still is described as a dark place, only recently one person asked if we had actually come out of the Dark Ages yet. Now although the World has progressed physically over time, it certainly seems to have gone very backward in Spirituality and it is being Spiritual, which is the brighter light, we should seek.
We live in a society governed by money, greed and power of people, people who seem to have lost direction, have either lost or not yet found their individual light. Now although they say money makes the World go around, we read far too often of the many rich and wealthy, who openly admit to being very unhappy and miserable, stating their life stills seems to have something missing in it, something that they just can’t put their finger on and which no amount of money can buy, this being that inner peace, that inner comfort of life, in fact there it seems they are still walking in the dark.
It is often seen advertised on billboards or some other source that turning to Christ will bring that light into a person’s life and I guess many will say it has, that at long last they have found direction, but we have to ask, just how bright is that light taught by Religion, does it give to you clear and undefined direction showing you as a person exactly what you should do, I think not, for has the discovery made by these people actually altered the World as a whole?
Spirit have spoken that it is now a time to begin showing people how the true light can be found, what it is actually showing to them and how they can walk within it.
We live in a time of great advancement of both science and technology and yet every day we see society getting worse and worse thus proving that this advancement hasn’t benefited us as a whole completely, if anything it has increased the greed for money and power.
So we need to examine just how we can begin fixing things, how we as individual people can begin to start putting right the wrongs with in World and within our own life.
So many agree that they are not happy with the World as it is but just do not know how to begin changing things, they rely and live in hope of governments doing this, physical governments, but if we were to begin thinking as Spirit are asking of us, our whole line of thinking would also alter, to change others and even change the World, we have to change.
Spirit have clearly spoken and said it is now a time to come together, working together as a whole, for alone we cannot ever hope to achieve this change they speak of, we need to begin unifying under one voice, under one direction, aiding and helping others to walk the path that illuminates brightly by Spirits hand.
So bring a little light into another person’s life, help them to find the pathway of Light and indeed of Life through Spirit, for only then can we ever hope to think of a Brighter World.
